• Install the .NET 2.0 Framework
• Install Media Portal v0.2.0.0 RC3
• Apply latest CVS update
• Execute the 'start.bat' program
• Run the 'MediaPortal Setup'
• Enjoy your PVR.

Hopefully soon the final version of v0.2.0.0 will be released, then the CVS update and 'start.bat' steps are no longer needed. But just like with any software product, changes are made on a daily basis, so if you have issues, make sure you tried the latest CVS update.
